The night of November 4th, 1966 was an event that marked forever the city of Florence.
The district of Santa Maria Novella, as much of the city, was badly hit by the flood. This changed forever the lives of its inhabitants, causing extensive damage to the artistic heritage and beyond. We have prepared two short video documentaries to tell the flood in our neighborhood. On one hand the testimonies of those who lived in person this calamity, on the other the technicians and professionals who still work for the restoration and maintenance of the cultural heritage affected by the flood.
